Students in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions are encouraged to be active participants in their respective professional organizations. In early September, 2012, 30 MSPO students travelled to Boston to attend the AOPA National Assembly at the Hynes Convention Center. As conference volunteers they acted as guides for attendees and helped set up booths. As conference participants they were exposed to political, clinical, and business presentations or discussions related to their profession.
