The College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions (ENHP) cultivates relationships with prominent local, national, and international partner organizations that offer rich collaborative learning and research environments for students, faculty, and community members.
Partnerships benefit ENHP students
From teacher training in Rwanda and nursing programs in Brazil to physical therapy clinics across the United States and the hospitals and schools of Greater Hartford, our partners help provide students the experience needed to excel outside the classroom. At partnership sites, students apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world settings and learn essential skills for their future professional careers.
Partnerships benefit the community
Our students bring new ideas and current thinking to their fieldwork and internship sites and their scholarly projects provide useful input to these community partners. Many of our students have been offered employment by our partners after graduation. Equally important, University faculty members contribute time and expertise to partner organizations, bringing their unique skills and research expertise to site-specific problems.
