a panel discussion with:
The State of Connecticut is once again involved in major reform efforts attempting to close the achievement gap. As a community of P-20 educators in the Greater Hartford area, our collective strengths as collaborators and partners from different institutional types will play an essential role in the success of the Governor's proposals. Three distinguished panelists will discuss the role of K-12 and higher education partnerships in educational innovation, with a particular focus on the recent affiliation between the Hartford Public Schools and the University of Hartford. Donn Weinholtz, professor and chair of the Department of Educational Leadership, will moderate the discussion.
This panel discussion is part of the University of Hartford’s ENHP Day, celebrating research, scholarship, and community partnerships in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions (ENHP). It takes place at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Mandell Jewish Community Center, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT. Join us before the panel discussion for the social hour and poster viewing at 5 p.m.
