Bordalo and Frankhauser Present at Undergraduate Colloquium

On Thursday, April 14, 2011, two students from the Department of Health Sciences, Karrie-Lynn Bordalo and Teresa Frankhauser presented scholarly work at the Annual Undergraduate Research and Creativity Colloquium held in the Harry Jack Gray Conference Center.  They joined selected students from other colleges whose work included honors theses, scientific experiments, business plans, art works, teaching internships, musical talents, and engineering projects covering a wide range of topics including historical investigations, cutting-edge science, ecology, psychology, Middle East studies, business, philosophy, creative writing, American culture, literature, art, music, and more.

Bordalo’s project focused on Bacterial Life Cycle and Environmental Interactions.  Frankhouser, studying in the respiratory care program, presented the work she has been doing toward Building a Sustainable Asthma Management Program.
