In the aftermath of the winter storm, the University of Hartford will open on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Classes will begin at 10:30 a.m. snow closing guide
Until that time, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open normal hours for use by residential students only. Gengras Student Union and University Libraries remain closed until the University reopens Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Dean Ralph O. Mueller is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Wilson-Foley as the newest member of the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions’ Board of Visitors effective with the board's September, 2011, meeting.
Upon accepting the invitation to join the Board, Ms. Wilson-Foley commented, "I am looking forward to working with other board members on shaping ENHP's bright future, particularly as it relates to the Institute for Translational Research and the college's community partners."
Wilson-Foley has owned and operated a number of businesses in Connecticut over the past 20 years. Named by Hartford Magazine the 2011 Business Leader of the Year, Lisa currently owns AllStar Therapy, a rehabilitation company, Blue Fox Enterprises, a family entertainment business, and MEDSTAT, an institutional pharmacy for long term and short term rehab facilities. Her public golf course was the first in the country to offer on-site child-care and her bowling center was the first in the state to ban smoking.
Lisa Wilson-Foley has served as a board member or corporator for a number of organizations including St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Hartford Hospital. She is a past chair of the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame.
Ms. Wilson-Foley is a licensed physical therapist. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree while caring for her family, launching a political campaign, and directing healthcare and entertainment enterprises.
