Paul Holzer, Executive Director of Achieve Hartford!, Joins ENHP Board of Visitors

Paul HolzerPaul Diego Holzer has joined the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions' Board of Visitors. He is the Executive Director of Achieve Hartford!, an education advocacy nonprofit focused solely on the improvement of the Hartford Public School system. 

Immediately prior to joining the organization in 2009, Holzer graduated from the Yale School of Management, where he received his MBA with a focus on management issues in the field of Education. Prior to graduate school, he was Director of Higher Education at the Latin American Youth Center, Washington DC’s leading youth development organization – where he directed a TRiO Upward Bound program and 3 other college preparatory programs targeting “first-generation to attend college” students.

Holzer was a founding board member of the YouthBuild Public Charter School, Washington DC’s only bilingual vocational school, a board member of the New Futures DC Scholarship Program, and a high school English teacher.  He earned a Bachelors of Arts and Secondary Teaching Certification from Dartmouth College in 2000.
