Project Horizon is a University of Hartford community service initiative that serves poor families and children with hands-on caring and education. Students, faculty and staff from across the university work in partnership with community members in homeless shelters, soup kitchens, neighborhood centers, transitional living centers and schools. Focusing on quality of life, wellness and social advocacy, Project Horizon makes over 2000 contacts per year in Hartford and beyond.
