New England Faculty Development Center Conference


Early Registration Deadline for NEFDC Fall Conference is Friday, October 16

The New England Faculty Development Consortium (NEFDC) is now accepting registrations for its annual fall conference to be held on Friday, November 13th at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Early registrations must be received no later than Friday, October 16.

This year's conference is "When Questioning is the Answer: Reflective Practice for College Faculty". Kicking off the conference will be keynote speaker Dr. Stephen Brookfield, who will lead the morning with an interactive session on reflective practice. Of special note is a new effort on the part of NEFDC. In collaboration with Dr. Barbara Walvoord of the University of Notre Dame, we are running a special pre-conference workshop, "Reflecting on Your Assessment in Departments and General Education: How to be More Realistic, Effective, and Time-Efficient". This small, limited-space workshop will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Worcester, MA, from 1:00-4:30 pm. on Thursday, November 12th.
