Dining Services

DinningThe University offers a variety of restaurants throughout campus. On the academic side of campus, you will find the Gengras Café and Einstein Bros. Bagels in Gengras Student Union, and the Dorothy Goodwin Café and 1877 Club in the Harry Jack Gray Center. On the residential side of campus are the cafeteria and the Hawk's Nest, both in University Commons; and the Village Market, the Market City Deli, and Taco Bell Express in Konover Campus Center.

GengrasGengras Café

This newly renovated University food court offers an extended soup and salad bar; the Burger Studio with a wide range of toppings and sides to choose from; and Bene Gourmet Pizza, featuring fresh, brick-oven pizzas and homestyle pasta dishes. Also in the café are Extreme Pita and Einstein Bros Bagles. The café is located inside Gengras Student Union.

Fri. - 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Einstein Bros Bagles Hours*:

Mon.–Fri., 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m.

The Hawks Nest

The Hawks Nest offers a late-night dinner solution for students. It is open from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., Monday through Sunday, offering an assortment of fresh foods, including brick-oven pizza, mouth-watering wings, and Signature wraps. The Hawks Nest also provides a convenient evening delivery service of the entire menu "hot, fresh, and in a hurry" to students anywhere on campus. For menu and delivery services contact 860.768.4033.

LibraryDorothy Goodwin Café

The Goodwin Café is conveniently located in the Mortensen Library in the Harry Jack Gray Center. You can find a selection of healthy snacks, teas and lattés, and New England's Finest Coffee.

Café Hours*:

Mon.–Thurs., 8 a.m.–11 p.m.; Fri., 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sat., CLOSED; Sun., 2–11 p.m.


1877 Club

Located in the Harry Jack Gray Center, the 1877 Club offers an upscale luncheon buffet with restaurant-style setting.
