Faculty Exhibition

The annual Faculty Exhibition features new works from the distinguished faculty of the Hartford Art School who teach ceramics, drawing, illustration, media arts, sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, visual communication design, foundation studies, and art history.

Gallery Hours:
Tuesday - Friday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.Saturday - Sunday: 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Totally Filthy: $200 per person
Quite Messy: $125 per person
Donations above $75 are tax deductible.

Event proceeds benefit the Hartford Art School Special Project Fund in support of HAS faculty development.

Join us for a preview of our campus and programs.

Enjoy a welcome presentation by University admission and then spend the day with faculty and staff from the Hartford Art School. You will have the opportunity to meet faculty and participate in studio demonstrations, tour our facilities, hear from our art history department, and ask questions at an Art School information presentation.

Grab some lunch, take a campus tour and then stop by the University's Resource Fair to meet with representatives from departments across the campus including financial aid, public safety, athletics, all the schools and colleges and their academic areas and many more.

Chris Horton Legacy

Chris Horton Legacy is an exhibition and sale of original artwork and giclée prints by Hartford Art School faculty emeritus Chris Horton (1936-2005). Proceeds will go toward the Chris Horton Endowed Scholarship benefiting students at the University of Hartford's Hartford Art School.

We are asking alums to bring their theory sketchbooks for an informal exhibition of those amazing archives!

Sherry Horton, author of Witness Chair: A Memoir of Art, Marriage, and Loss, will be on hand to sign copies of this moving and informative account of her forty years with the artist.
