Parking Advisory

With forecast heavy rains for Saturday and the potential for both river and flash flooding, students are asked to avoid parking in low-lying areas of parking lots C, D, E (along the tree line), F (eastern most entrance by the pond), and N-Annex. Cars should now be on higher ground within these lots or in Lot F (by Konover Campus Center). Vehicles should be returned to their assigned parking lots by 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

Senior Designer

NFL
New York, NY

B.F.A., Visual Communication Design, 2011

I was introduced to the creative recruiter who placed me at my first ad agency during my senior show with the Visual Communication Design (VCD) program. The recruiter came to our professional opening, reviewed portfolios, and placed me and some of the other great designers from the VCD program at TracyLocke in Wilton, Conn. From there, I grew into other roles for multiple creative agencies throughout New York City, leading to my current position as a designer for the NFL.
Working for the NFL, I design for some of the most recognizable teams and brands in the country. My work is shown, interacted with, and displayed nationwide. The path to the NFL started with the opportunity to work at multiple advertising agencies in Connecticut and New York as well as create work for some of my favorite brands. I have worked on and led many great creative teams, building on the skills and foundations I developed in my time at Hartford.
The Hartford Art School set me up to succeed in my career by helping me to develop a diverse portfolio that demonstrated the foundation of knowledge that I built at the University of Hartford. The most useful tool I graduated with was the ability to discuss design. The ability to articulate my choices and express creative direction has been the skill that has carried me through my career.
