Parking Advisory

With forecast heavy rains for Saturday and the potential for both river and flash flooding, students are asked to avoid parking in low-lying areas of parking lots C, D, E (along the tree line), F (eastern most entrance by the pond), and N-Annex. Cars should now be on higher ground within these lots or in Lot F (by Konover Campus Center). Vehicles should be returned to their assigned parking lots by 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

I am a self-employed full time artist, currently living and residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since graduation I have lived and worked in various cities up and down the east coast including Athens, Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Lansing, and Grand Rapids. My work can be found in galleries, museums, and public and private collections in numerous states and countries. I recently finished installing large-scale murals in Lansing's Co-Space, Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, and New Britain Museum of American Art. Over the last few months I had a show of my paintings in Jerald Melberg Gallery, the Mint Museum, and installed two exterior murals throughout the city of Charlotte. The Hartford Art School provided me with the flexible framework to expand my skill set and to turn my passion into a career. The program allowed me to build a path that was specifically catered to my needs and goals which was of the utmost importance.
