Parking Advisory

With forecast heavy rains for Saturday and the potential for both river and flash flooding, students are asked to avoid parking in low-lying areas of parking lots C, D, E (along the tree line), F (eastern most entrance by the pond), and N-Annex. Cars should now be on higher ground within these lots or in Lot F (by Konover Campus Center). Vehicles should be returned to their assigned parking lots by 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

B.F.A., Ceramics, 2012

Dan is currently a member of the teaching faculty at the Williston Northampton School, a private boarding school located in Easthampton, MA. As a part of the Visual and Performing Arts Department for both the middle and upper schools, he teaches an array of visual arts classes including Painting, Sculpture, Digital Art and Art History.  Additionally, Dan devotes his summers to teaching workshops in ceramics as part of the Putney School Summer Programs in Vermont.

He cites the breadth of his education at the Hartford Art School, including the ability to double minor in Art History and Illustration, as a huge factor in his success. Because of the in-depth exposure to so many different art making techniques and media, he is able to now teach classes in many different subjects throughout the school year and summer.

Throughout this journey, Dan has continued to work closely with current Associate Professor of Ceramics, Matt Towers, in various projects, including a long term project at Real Art Ways in Hartford, CT.  Right along with the variety and intensity of his artistic education at HAS, he holds in very high esteem the relationships he built with professors at the school. He feels that the ongoing support and care that he was given through school and beyond has been essential to his success.
