Adult Tap

If you are looking to have fun while getting a challenging workout, tap is the class for you.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • All tap classes begin with 15 minute warm up to get the feet loose and ready to move.
  • Students should bring a water bottle and towel.

What to wear

  • Top: Solid-color leotard, t-shirt, or unitard.
  • Bottom: Tights or jazz pants.
  • Tap shoes are mandatory. Please ensure that all taps are secure with no screws extending out that may damage the floor. The sound of your taps is determined by the style of shoe. Inexpensive shoes will have a very "tinny" sound which may bother the student who wonders why their taps don't sound like the teacher's. Any tap shoe is acceptable as long as the student is comfortable with their choice.
