Ty Graynor

Dance Faculty, Jazz and tap

Ty GraynorTy Graynor is originally from Huntington, New York, where he began his dance training, primarily in tap and hip hop, at the age of eight.  He is currently a BFA candidate in dance performance at the University of Hartford's The Hartt School. He has performed works by Ohad Naharin, Doug Varone, Adam Barruch, Martha Graham, José Limón, Robin Becker, Christina Lynch Markham, and Manuel Vignoulle. In 2015, he performed José Limón's Psalm, staged by Nina Watt at the Joyce Theater in New York City for the José Limón International Dance Festival. He recently performed at La MaMa Experimental Theater Club in NYC for the World Premier of In The Box 2 with dancer/choreographer Miki Orihara.
