From Studio to Stage II

From Studio to Stage II is a half-day training program especially designed for dance students aged 8–11. FSTS II provides younger dancers with the opportunity to experience a rigorous and focused training program, while also expanding their exposure to new teachers and dance forms. HCD students will be placed according to their background of training. All other students will be placed by age.

The Hartt School Community Division faculty is supplemented by guest teachers from the corresponding program for older students. Additional lectures outside the allotted class time may be available for interested students.

An informal showing is held on the last day of the program and features presentations of the work studied during the program.
