Group Guitar for Adults

This 10-week course will teach you the basics of finger-style classical guitar technique and note reading. The techniques learned will be used in the context of classical guitar but can be applied to other styles of music including finger-style, folk, blues, jazz, and other popular styles. At the end of the course students will be able to play simple and familiar melodies and accompaniment patterns as well as a simple classical guitar solo. You will also be introduced notable classical guitar repertoire and performers. Potential students for this course would include those who have little or no experience with guitar playing.  It could also include those who have played some guitar before but with no experience in reading music and/or finger style technique.
