Information
The Greater Hartford Youth Wind Ensemble (GHYWE) is composed of dedicated high-school students. GHYWE performs advanced wind-ensemble repertoire, including traditional, modern, and new works. GHYWE originated in the 1950s from the Hartt Youth Symphonic Band and the Connecticut Valley Youth Wind Ensemble.
