Opus '89

String orchestra for advanced string players regardless of method (Suzuki or traditional)

In 1987, the late David Einfeldt founded the premier Suzuki string orchestra Opus '89. Today, this string orchestra is open, by audition, to advanced string players, regardless of their training method. Opus ′89 rehearses and performs advanced repertoire. This ensemble often collaborates with wind players and percussionists to perform classical-era orchestral works.
