Traditional Piano

Pianist Bella Keyzner received her Master of Music in Piano with Honors from Belarus State Conservatory. She is a former faculty member of the Grodno Music College (Belarus) for students professionally oriented in music. Mrs. Keyzner has served on The Hartt Community Division faculty since 1997.

“My goal is to give my students a knowledge and love of music; to develop technical skills, ability to read notes fluently, sight reading and work on, various exercises that serve to create a base from which the student can progress to higher levels. I strive to get my students to fall in love with music and try to teach them what is necessary to make that love a reality."

Teaching Philosophy

My overarching goal is to teach my students a deep understanding of music and to give them the joy of being able to bring it to an audience. I hope this gift of music will always be in their lives. I love teaching my students. I encourage their improvement by carefully and effectively pointing out their weaknesses and providing methods for improvement. Over the years I have established very positive and warm relationships with many of my students and their families. A good lesson is one where students are engaged, focused, and motivated to learn throughout our time together. When lessons are carefully planned to meet the individual learner’s needs, confidence builds, and goals are achieved.
