Why you enjoy teaching Hillyer students:
Yesterday I went to my last class and found myself waiting with my students for a room to be opened. A young man asked "Are you Professor Stone?" I noticed his Yankees hat and asked him where he was from. He said the Bronx. I commented "Have you ever been to Pugsley's?" He replied "Great Pizza!" After trading a few more "Bronx Tales" and the door having finally been opened, it was time for class. I have hopes that this is the start of a good relationship, just one of many that I can count since my appointment at Hillyer. Great student/teacher interaction coupled with a very friendly atmosphere make working at Hillyer a special experience.
