The Hartford Consortium for Higher Education is a collaborative endeavor of public and private colleges and universities in the Hartford area.
The University of Hartford is a member of the Consortium and participates in the Tuition Remission program. This benefit provides regular full-time faculty and staff the opportunity to receive tuition reduction or abatement for one course per semester and one course during the summer at any of the participating institutions.
The Consortium tuition remission benefit is available for the attainment of an undergraduate degree, and/or graduate degree through the master’s level or sixth-year certificate in education. Doctoral studies are specifically excluded from this benefit.
The Consortium tuition remission benefit is available in conjunction with the University’s tuition remission benefit. The maximum combined benefit allowed per semester is two course abatements.
