Institutional Partnerships and Sponsored Research
IPSR is the department on campus responsible for the solicitation and management of funding from institutional funders. This includes the identification, submission, post-award management, and compliance for various types of funding (i.e., grants, contracts, subcontracts, cooperative agreements) from corporations and corporate foundations, private foundations, and public entities at the city, state, and federal level. IPSR also offers a series of workshops throughout the year to faculty and staff on topics such as research funding opportunities, proposal development, budgeting and post-award grant management.

Anna Paula provides administrative support for IPSR with a focus on maintaining the processes and procedures required for the submission and oversight of grant proposals and awards; scheduling and managing logistics of appointments, meetings and presentations; and departmental budget management.

Office of Sponsored Research, IPSR
Chris handles all grant requests that relate to public funding, including federal, state, and municipal grants and contracts. He works regularly with faculty and staff to help shepherd grants through the submission process, and will assist in budget creation and meeting a variety of funder requirements. He also oversees many of the compliance issues involved in both pre-award and post-award management, including time and effort reporting.

Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations, Institutional Advancement
Rebecca's office reports to the office of Institutional Advancement. Rebecca handles all grant requests that relate to private funding, including corporations and foundations. She helps identify, cultivate and solicit private funding organizations for support of the University of Hartford and helps faculty and staff build ongoing relationships with funders. She provides guidance and information for the development of grant proposals and subsequent budget management and reporting. Rebecca also reviews, edits and provides ongoing feedback to faculty and staff on proposals and reports which are being submitted to private funding organizations.

Financial Accounting Services
Spring works closely with IPSR in award setup and the post-award fiscal management of the University's grants and contracts. Though not part of IPSR, she is a key contact for faculty managing their grants.

Provost's Office
Fred is the primary liaison to the Provost and provides the final review before grant proposals go to the Provost for signature. He works closely with IPSR to ensure University policies are being followed.

Human Subjects Committee (HSC)
Professor Misovich is the contact for the University of Hartford's Human Subjects Committee (HSC/IRB) the committee that oversees grant proposals involving human subjects. He confirms for IPSR that the appropriate documentation has been submitted to the HSC prior to the submission of any grant proposal involving human subjects.

Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
Martin is the Chair of the committee which oversees the use of animals in research on campus. He confirms for IPSR that the appropriate documentation has been submitted to IACUC prior to the submission of any grant proposal involving vertebrate animals.
