Due to winter storm conditions, the University is closed today, Tuesday, Jan. 27.  Day and evening classes are canceled. An updated advisory on the status of classes and operations for tomorrow will be posted this evening. During the time that the University is closed, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open for use by residential students only. Susan Coleman is known for her extensive research in such areas as small business finance and entrepreneurial finance, with a focus on access to capital for women-owned and minority-owned businesses. As co-founder of the University's Center for Personal Financial Responsibility, which promotes financial literacy among students, Coleman is also qualified to discuss topics such as credit cards and loans.

Coleman has been quoted in a variety of newspapers, from the Hartford Courant to the Washington Post. She has also appeared in local television news stories.
