Robert H. Davis is a professor of theatre in The Hartt School at the University of Hartford. In the second of this rwo-part interview, Davis talks about the differences between acting on stage (as he is currently doing in his role as Bob Cratchit in Hartford Stage's A Christmas Carol) and acting in a film. He also discusses the theatre program at Hartt, its collaborations with other Hartt School programs.
Davis also explains an actor techniques, including the art of memorization, breathing for relaxation, and improvisation.
