Preview, the University's summer orientation program, is your introduction to the campus community. During Orientation Preview you will meet people, find ways to make the University of Hartford your home away from home, and learn steps that will help you take charge of your college career. You will also receive academic advising, finalize registration for fall semester classes, and get a feel for life at the University.
And when Orentation Preview is over, that doesn’t mean your orientation is over. Just before the start of classes in the fall, you will participate in Liftoff: Fall Orientation, which is our second in-depth introduction to the University for all new students.
Red Caps are orientation student leaders. Their sole purpose is to make your adjustment to life at the University of Hartford as smooth as possible. Red Caps are friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic as they help you and your parents become comfortable with the University and familiar with all the opportunities here.
