The University is operating on a normal schedule today. Hartt Community Division classes and activities are canceled for the remainder of today and this evening. This evening's McAuley Lecture, presented by the Presidents' College, has been canceled.

What if I do not have a car?

Having a car on campus as a freshmen is allowed, but discouraged. A shuttle bus makes regular stops around the campus, and goes off-campus to local shopping centers during the first weekend of school. The shuttle bus route routinely goes to several off-campus locations throughout the school year, and CT Transit Hartford has a bus stop located directly in front of the campus.

Most students do not have a need to leave campus. The University Bookstore, the Village Market, Taco Bell, Java City, the 1877 Club Restaurant, two cafeterias, and the Hawk's Nest provide most of the resources you will need.
