We recognize that the transition to college life can be difficult not only for new students, but also for their families. Collaboration between parents and the Office of Residential Life is important in supporting students through their transition.
Should roommate issues arise, please explore the Roommate Success Tips to help guide your student in finding a solution. The Residential Life staff is trained and available to help connect roommates and guide them through a mediation process.
The Office of Residential Life communicates pertinent information to all residential students via their University of Hartford email address, beginning with the details for fall opening, winter break, spring opening, housing assignments, and the end of year closing. For further details, check out Policies and Procedures.
