Volunteer Opportunities

Assign As Needed: You are open to helping in any way possible and will be assigned to areas that need volunteers.

Athlete Escorts: Under the direction of a Head Coach, you will be an escort and personal cheerleader for an athlete for the day and will escort him/her wherever he/she needs to be. (Minimum Age Requirement for Athlete Escorts: 14)

Athlete Staging: You will be needed to organize and escort heats of athletes between staging area/competition area/awards area. (Hartford Public High School activity ONLY)

Aquatics Competition: You will serve as a timer, staging escort, result recorder, announcer, or official at the Aquatics Competitions. (University of Hartford activity ONLY)

Awards: You will assist in the prepping, staging, announcing and presenting of athlete awards. You may also be assisting athletes on and off the Awards stand/platform.

Food Services: You will assist in the distribution of lunches or assist with other food distribution and transfers throughout the day.

Olympic Town: You will work with athletes in playing games, doing arts and crafts, and having fun! Olympic Town is where athletes go when they are not competing.

Softball Throw Staging: You will be needed to organize and escort heats of athletes between staging area/competition area/awards area. (Hartford Public High School activity ONLY)

Softball Throw/Turbo Jav Competition: You will assist in the competition with recording results, returning balls, and mesuring distances. (Hartford Public High School activity ONLY)

Turbojav Throw Competition: You will serve as a measurer, result recorder, staging escort, or official at the turbojav throw competitions. (Hartford Public High School activity ONLY)

Track Competition: You will serve as a timer, staging escort, result recorder, or official at the Track Competitions. (Hartford Public High School activity ONLY)

Volunteer Captains: You will be needed to coordinate and oversee the on site Volunteer Registration Tables and assist with other volunteer related activities and areas. (Hartford Public High School activity ONLY)

Walk/Wheelchair/Adaptive Competition: You will serve as a timer, staging escort, result recorder, or official. (Hartford Public High School activity ONLY)
