The gospel choir was the first performance group to become a part of the Multicultural Organizations. Their mission is to spread the gospel through song, and they have performed at numerous venues, including the inauguration of the president of the university, Dr. Walter Harrison.
The choir has performed at Hartford City Hall, First Cathedral, Trinity College, Central Connecticut State University, Long Lane School for Girls, Albertus Magnus University, Saint Joseph’s College – West Hartford, Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church – Bloomfield, CT, St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Torrington, CT, World AIDS Day at St. Patrick’s Church in Hartford, Inter-Faith Thanksgiving Day Services, The Martin Luther King Community Presbyterian Church – Springfield, MA, Gethsemane Baptist Church – Hartford, Celestial Praise Church of God – Springfield, MA, Cathedral of the Holy Spirit – Bridgeport, The September 11th Fundraising Concert for Policemen & Firefighters – Westminster School in Simsbury, CT , Hopewell Baptist Church in Hartford, CT, St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Hartford, CT, The Hartford for Haiti Benefit Concert, Campus Ministry’s Facilities Opening, Music for a Change at the University of Hartford, Parent’s Weekend Dinners for BSU, and the Foodshare Benefit Concert.
