What is the Office of Parent Relations?

The Office of Parent Relations was established in the early 1990s and serves as the direct link between parents and the University of Hartford. The office assists parents to become informed and involved members of the University community by answering questions, sending emails, sharing timely and important information, working closely with the Parents' Association, and organizing parent activities for Hawktober Weekend (for our alumni and parents). We want you to stay connected with the University and value you as a partner in promoting student success.

The Office of Parent Relations can assist you to

• learn how to help your student succeed in college
• become involved in committees and task forces by attending Parents' Association meetings or volunteering during Hawktober Weekend
• resolve concerns and questions you have with academic, financial, residential, or other issues
• network with other University of Hartford parents
