Host Your Event At The Student Centers

As the University's "living room", the Student Centers provide over 140,571 square feet of space for University and community activity. We provide a full service operation including space scheduling, event planning/execution, facility usage and event resources provision. Our network includes working with skilled University service departments and external vendors to ensure the success of your event. Workshops are held regularly to provide University event planners a “how-to” guides on planning and managing engaging and efficient events.

The Student Centers offers many types of venues - each with its own unique qualities. Our venues are ideal locations for your next meeting, conference or event. The University of Hartford boasts a convenient location within the “heartbeat” of Southern New England, just 10 minutes from downtown Hartford, CT!

Campus Information Services

Our Guest Services Area provides ticketing and event registration services to University departments and their affiliates. The "Hawk Hub" network consists of online and point of sale locations through the University Information Center located in the E. Clayton Gengras Student Union and other remote locations.

Space Reservations

The Business and Scheduling Services Administrator maintain the calendar of our spaces. The Administrator also serves as an Event Coordinator's representative to the Event Services Committee as needed. Requests to use space for internal clients begin with the space reservation form.  External organizations who would like to request the use of Student Centers spaces may click here to fill out an application for consideration.

Production Services

Student Centers Production Services serves the production needs of the Student Centers and other areas of the University community. They provide sound, projection, lighting, and staging support to events on campus. Student Centers conference and event spaces provide built in audio/visual features and can also include added event resources to further enhance your event.
