SGA E-Board

The SGA E-Board is elected at the end of the Spring Semester each year. These individuals head the University of Hartford's Student Government Association and are responsible for various aspects of life at the university.  

Randy Perez - Executive Vice President

Randy is a sophomore psychology major. He was born and raised in Sleepy Hollow, NY where the legend of the Headless Horsemen originated, proclaimed 2015 scariest town by Snapchat. Aside from being in SGA, Randy is also a Resident Assistant in Hawk Hall. Randy has served as B-Complex Senator his Freshman year, and is excited to take on the position as Executive Vice President.

 Liam McCusker - Finance Vice President

Liam is a senior communications major here at the University. He was born and raised in Montclair, NJ and loves to go on hikes, watch tv shows such as How I met your mother, and his favorite sport is baseball. Aside from being a part of SGA, Liam is a CA in Hawk Hall, as well as a brother of Alpha Phi Omega, the community service fraternity. He has served as Hillyer Senator for his sophomore year, the Associate to the Finance Vice President for his junior year, and is ready to take on the position as Finance Vice President for his senior year.

 Nicole Milette - Student Affairs Vice President 

Nicole is a sophomore Music Education (Vocal) major. She is from Hampden, MA. Aside from SGA, Nicole is a part of the Red Key Society, a Red Cap, and a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota. Nicole has a twin brother and she can play the ukulele. She has previously served as the Hartt School Senator, and is excited to bring new ideas to the position as the Student Affairs Vice President.

 Bryson Owens - Public Relations Vice President 

Bryson is a junior communications major here at the University. He is originally from South Jamaica Queens, NY, but now resides in Suffolk County, NY. He enjoys writing screenplays, novels, and short stories. Aside from SGA, Bryson is a Resident Assistant in A-Complex, an orientation leader, treasurer for Hartbeat Student Magazine, and a co-host for the WSAM talkshow "Multimix." He has previously served as Hawk Hall Senator for his freshman year, the Associate to the Executive Vice President for his sophomore year, and is excited to take on the position as Public Relations Vice President for his junior year.

 Kevin Contreras - Academic Vice President 

Kevin is a senior Biochemistry and Health Science double major with a Physics minor. Kevin is from West Hartford, Connecticut. He enjoys long walks on the beach, as well as playing soccer (competitively). Aside from being a part of SGA, Kevin is also a part of the Red Cap orientation team, a tour guide for the Red Key Society, an eboard member for Naciones Hispanas Unidas, an eboard member for Unified Theater, and a Hillyer Ambassador.Kevin has previously served as the Commuter Senator for his junior year, and is excited to take on the position as the Academic Vice President for his senior year.

 Ross Hart - Student Regent 

Ross is a senior political science and environmental science major from Southington, Connecticut. Aside from being a part of SGA, Ross enjoys snowboarding in his spare time as well as fly fish. He has been a member of SGA since his freshman year, where he served as Freshman Senator. He later went on to become the associate to the Academic Vice President for his sophomore year, the associate to the Student Affairs Vice President for the first half of his junior year, and is now serving as the Student Regent for his senior year. He encourages students to email him for any concerns they'd like brought before the Board of Regents.

 Karishma Pinto - Student Regent 

Karishma is a senior communication major with an emphasis in advertising and public relations, as well as a double minor in marketing and graphic design. Aside from being a student regent, Karishma is the co-president of Women for Change and PRSSA, and is the treasurer for Best Buddies. She is also a general member of several other clubs and believes that getting as involved as possible is the best way to make the most out of the college experience. Karishma loves the University of Hartford and will be continuing on to a fifth year to pursue a masters degree in communication.

 Josh Dagrin - Executive Assistant

Josh is a junior Biomedical Engineering major, from North Kingstown, RI. Aside from SGA, Josh is also a member of the National Society of Black Engineers, Biomedical Engineering Club, and a brother for Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Josh has previously served as Freshman Senator for his freshman year, Sophomore Senator for his sophomore year, and is excited to be serving on the executive board as the executive assistant.  

 Marianne Sayamath - Student Representative to the Alumni Board

Marianne is a senior Physical Therapy major here at the university. She is from Meriden, Cnnecticut. Aside from being a part of SGA, Marianne also serves on the Hawktober Week Planning Committee and participates in Alternative Spring Break with the Center of Community Service. Marianne has previously served as ENHP Senator for her freshman year, Public Relations Vice President for her sophomore year, Park River Senator for her junior year, and is excited to sit on eboard once again as the Student Representative to the Alumni Board
