The Source - Student Handbook

The Source is the University of Hartford’s graduate and undergraduate student handbook, designed to introduce students to the programs and services offered by the University, which can also be found under the "Programs and Services" tab on the left.

It is also meant to inform students of all University policies and regulations. It is the responsibility of each student to be familiar with these policies, especially the Code of Student Conduct, which  includes information about acts of misconduct, the conduct process and sanctions.

  • Acts of misconduct - behavior that is considered by the University to be destructive, offensive, or disruptive of University functions.
  • Conduct process - the steps students must take once they have committed an act of misconduct to prove their innocence or, if guilty, decide what their consequences will be.
  • Sanctions - possible consequences for misconduct; the steps students must take after going through the conduct process.
