Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) aids students in achieving their personal, social and academic goals. Through our short-term, confidential psychotherapy services (GSU-313), students are able to address issues that may be impeding these goals. Issues that students raise when seeking counseling include, but are not limited to: relationship difficulties; depression or anxiety; stress/time management; eating concerns; family difficulties; and alcohol and/or substance concerns. Students seeking counseling during times that CAPS is not open should visit the CAPS website: www.hartford.edu/caps and click on "Referrals".
