Laura D'Angelo-Gohn Leaving UHart for New Adventures

With mixed emotions, I write to share with the campus community that Laura D’Angelo-Gohn will be leaving the University of Hartford for new opportunities. Laura’s last day in Barney Academic Services will be Friday, May 10.

Laura began working at Barney in February of 2019 as the Academic Services Coordinator for the Cigna MBA Program. As a result of her strong work ethic, Laura was soon promoted to Director of Graduate Programs for the Barney School, a role which she has held since Fall 2020.

During her time at the University, Laura has been actively involved in campus activities, including serving on the Staff Council and participating in the Laura Johnson Leaders Program.  Additionally, she was awarded the Barney School of Business’ Outstanding Staff Member Award for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Laura has also been a graduate student at UHart and will be awarded a Master of Arts in Communication degree at this weekend’s Commencement Ceremony.

Laura will be greatly missed by students, faculty, and staff. I will especially miss her quick wit, which has brought a smile to my face on countless occasions.

Please join me in wishing Laura well in her new endeavors!
