Apply for a Grant

The Women's Education and Leadership Fund gives out grants each year to projects whose main focus is one or more of the following:

• Enhance the education of women
• Advance women as scholars and as the subject of scholarship
• Cultivate and sustain women's leadership skills
• Increase awareness about women as individuals and in communities

Members of the University of Hartford community are encouraged to apply for these $2,000 - $10,000 grants by submitting a one-page letter of intent by November. Invitations to full application are made in December, and grant decisions are made by April. Funds are awarded for the following fiscal year commencing July 1.
