Until that time, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open normal hours for use by residential students only. Gengras Student Union and University Libraries remain closed until the University reopens Wednesday at 10 a.m.

WELFund’s WELCorps Leader Program was inspired by the way Hartford College for Women (HCW) challenged, empowered and at the same time supported its students. Designed to respond to the unique opportunities, challenges, and transitions experienced by female students at each stage of their undergraduate experience, it will ultimately be a four-year program. It was developed in collaboration with on-campus partners in academic and student affairs to serve first- and sophmore- year students. In addition to providing tools, training, and techniques students can use to navigate college and life’s opportunities and challenges, the program aims to:
WELFund launched its WELCorps Leader Program in 2012-2013, thanks to the generosity of Alison Gallagher Coolbrith ’65 and Barry N. Lastra, who made a very generous gift and offered to match every new or increased gift, and the greater WELFund community who responded.
Limited to 20 first-year female students, this program involves an application process and annual commitment but offers exclusive benefits. The WELCorps Leadership Program includes opportunities to interact with University leaders, faculty, staff, upper class students, and alumnae; personal and professional skill development; events and receptions with University leaders; and recognition of achievements.PROGRAM BENEFITS: PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT
