Each year, The Women's Education and Leadership Fund directly supports the educational advancement of two adult-aged women attending the University of Hartford to complete or obtain their college degrees. The scholars are selected by the Office of Graduate and Adult Academic Services.

Created by his widow, Margaret Donovan, the Robert E. Donovan Scholarship Fund honors and celebrates the life of Robert E. Donovan who believed in the transformative power of education. These scholarships are given each year to one or more females studying engineering who are on track to complete their degrees, but who need financial assistance in order to continue.

The Dorothy Goodwin Summer Scholars Program provides stipends for a select group of sophomore and junior women students who propose innovative summer research projects in partnership with a University of Hartford faculty member.
