Scholarship Programs

DOROTHY GOODWIN SCHOLARS PROGRAM

The Dorothy Goodwin Scholars Program provides stipends of $2500-$5000, as well as leadership and professional training, for a select group of sophomore and junior women students who propose innovative research or creative projects in partnership with a University of Hartford faculty member.  Preference is given to students in the LEAD Program.

ROBERT E. DONOVAN SCHOLARSHIPS

Created by his widow, Margaret Donovan, the Robert E. Donovan Scholarship Fund honors and celebrates the life of Robert E. Donovan who believed in the transformative power of education. These scholarships are given each year to one or more females studying engineering who are on track to complete their degrees, but who need financial assistance in order to continue.

HCW CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

Inspired by the way Hartford College for Women (HCW) challenged, empowered and at the same time supported its students; The Women’s Advancement Initiative offers female students scholarships to attend leadership and professional conferences.  Preference is given to students in the LEAD Program.
