The University of Hartford began its 60th year on February 21, 2017 with a “Where’s Walt” scavenger hunt and birthday cake in the Commons. On this page, we’re sharing photos and a video about the day as well as some interesting and exciting University accomplishments that happened from 2007 to 2017. It’s not a comprehensive list but it is sure to spark some memories.

March 11 – Innovative director and artist Robert Wilson will receive an honorary degree from the University on Friday, March 11. Read More
May 24 – University of Hartford President Walter Harrison led a group of nearly 200 people in a “toast” to celebrate the start of the long anticipated expansion and renovation of the University Libraries. Read More
Nov. 18 – The University of Hartford announced today that, thanks to the generosity of a group of anonymous donors in the form of a multimillion-dollar gift, University Libraries will now be named Harrison University Libraries in honor of University President Walter Harrison, who will retire in June after 19 years leading the University.
