Dave Miller earned his PhD from the University of Connecticut in 2016, with research interests in Numerical Linear Algebra, specializing in fast algorithms for structured matrices. While at UConn Miller developed an interest in the use of technology in the mathematics classroom and flipping pedagogy. Prior to graduate school, he earned his BA from Salve Regina University, where he studied mathematics and secondary education and played on the baseball team.
