    The discussion will focus on Connecticut's November election and the long-term impact of social media on political parties and public service. The panel will address the explosion of social media and other communication channels that enable candidates to bypass political parties and traditional media, while also effectively targeting affiliated voters who have increasingly become more "tribal." They will also discuss communicating with younger audiences who are increasingly becoming unaffiliated with a political party.

    The event is free and open to the public.
