Main Menu Bar

The Main Menu Bar is the blue area at the top of the browser. To choose any of the  menu sections, click on the item. If the menu option has a double arrow, a drop-down menu of more options for that section will appear.

Cascade Server Icon – Used to check the status of published files.

  • Search – Locating files or Assets. Options include Basic, Advanced, and Replacement.
  • Publisher – View active and upcoming jobs to be published. Scheduled Job will show publishing activities that are set daily.
  • Utilities – Not used.
  • Preferences – Set user preferences or reset user name and password.

Home - Returns user to the default Dashboard view.  

New - Create Assets, including pages, uploaded files and new folders. The types of Assets are dependent on the permission set and the types of Assets which have been configured for you.

History - Return to a previously edited area with a single click.

Tools (Zip Archive) - Upload a .zip archive of up to 20MB.

Username – Person signed into the CMS.

Quick Links – Quick Link menu of options.

My Settings – Change your user preferences and password.

Help – Connect to Hannon Hill's Knowledge Base for Cascade. Our campus has modified the software; so not everything will be available for use on the UofH site(s).

Give Us Feedback – Submit ideas to improve the CMS.

Log Out – Log out of Cascade.

Search - Search Cascade Assets. (If you begin a search in the middle of creating or editing a folder or a page, before clicking the Submit button, your changes will be lost.
