Access-Ability Services supports the educational needs of students with documented disabilities. Accommodations and services include assistance with exams and one-on-one academic coaching.

Access-Ability Services

UHart students of all abilities have access to free, one-on-one tutoring in many different subject areas. You may work with faculty and/or peer consultants to discuss strategies for note taking, studying, taking tests, reading assigned texts, and writing papers in the following academic areas.

Chemistry Lab

The Chemistry Peer Tutor Lab is open Monday through Thursday during the spring and fall semesters. It is staffed by upper-class chemistry students. Some tutors are qualified to tutor in organic chemistry as well as general chemistry.

A current schedule of tutoring hours is posted outside the lab.

Computer Science Lab

The Computer Science Lab is open Monday through Friday during the spring and fall semesters. It is staffed by upper-class computer science majors offering peer-to-peer tutoring and academic advising services for students.
