About Graduate Studies

Graduate Studies at the University of Hartford consists of more than 60 graduate degree programs. Our dedicated faculty members provide post-baccalaureate training to more than 1,600 part-time and full-time students.

And because our graduate programs are diverse, we deliver a rich environment for interdisciplinary study. In fact, few settings within Connecticut provide greater cultural and intellectual resources to prepare lives for leadership and service.

Virtual Graduate Student Reception

Engage with the University of Hartford’s graduate community by attending our virtual event on September 23, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Every fall, the Provost’s Office hosts a Graduate Student Reception to welcome students to the new academic year and encourage the building of community and connections. This year, we have the same goal and the event will be offered fully online. We welcome all graduate students to attend!

Keynote Speaker, Brooke Penders, Executive Director, Career and Professional Development, will discuss The Post-Pandemic Career Search: The One Question All Students Should be Prepared to Answer.

Opening remarks will be shared by President Woodward and Provost Sweitzer.

Breakout sessions will follow the keynote speaker and will be led by collegiate deans and other school specific leadership, such as Board of Visitors members, graduate program directors, and alumni.

We encourage you to register for the event below.
