This intentionally designed, career-focused program is offered on campus and online across summer, fall, and spring semesters and can be completed in as little as three years.

The Dual MSOP/MSBA program is a unique 20 course (60-credit) program requiring 10 courses each from the MS in Organizational Psychology and MSBA programs. The MSOP side of the dual degree has 5 core requirements (15 credits), including a Capstone project (open to all) or internship (on-campus students only), and 5 electives, one of which may be taken in the Barney School of Business. The MSBA side of the dual degree has 9 core required courses and one elective. Courses taken within the College of Arts & Sciences are charged at the A&S per credit graduate tuition rate and courses taken within the Barney School of Business are charged at the Barney per credit graduate tuition rate. Capstone Project:
The Capstone course (PSY 625 – 3 credits) is required for all online MSOP students and is a culminating degree option for on-campus students. This option should be seriously considered by students who are working full-time and who wish to apply organizational material in their current job settings. Capstone projects may be completed in either a seven-week or 14-week course timeline, chosen by the student.
The Capstone project emphasizes individual study of the literature and application of researched findings to a workplace problem. Final products include scholarly literature reviews and an applied component that aligns with the student’s topic selection and researched findings. Students will complete individual Capstone projects with the support of an advising faculty member and a small group of student colleagues.
Internship in Organizational Psychology:
The Internship option (PSY 680 – 3 credits) is available for on-campus students who wish to obtain practical experience in an organizational setting for degree credit. Internships are recommended for students who need additional, applied work experience and may not already be employed full-time. Securing an approved internship placement is the students’ responsibility. All students are encouraged to take advantage of internship opportunities to obtain valuable applied experience during their graduate training. Internships for degree credit are only available to on-campus students.

No more than two courses (6 credits), pre-approved, from the MSOP program may be applied toward the MSBA degree. One course (3 credits) must be an MSBA elective.
Electives are non-required courses in both programs.

Applicants complete one single application, but must be accepted to the graduate programs of both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Barney School of Business. The following is required:
A $50 application fee
A letter of intent
Official transcripts of all previous baccalaureate and graduate study
Three letters of recommendation from academic or professional references. GMAT/GRE scores can be submitted to support an application. Applicants are encouraged to submit GRE or GMAT scores if they do not meet any of the criteria listed below:
Undergraduate GPA of 3.0+
3 years of substantial work experience
Previous completion of a Masters or higher-level degree
GMAT waivers based on substantive work experience may be granted in extraordinary circumstances.
