Meet Bates House
University of Hartford's "white house," also known as Bates House is home to our Office of Admission and Student Financial Aid.
Our team of counselors are dedicated to making your admission process as smooth as possible. We are here to answer your questions and make you feel comfortable. We realize that choosing a college is a big decision. We asked our admission counselors some fun questions so you can get to them personally.
Fun facts about our counselors
What is a fun fact about you? When I was in college I worked on the landscaping crew at the CIA.
What advice do you have for incoming UHart students? Get involved! My favorite thing about the University of Hartford is that we have such a great community with tons of different clubs and organizations. There is something for everyone!
What is your favorite spot in downtown West Hartford/Hartford? Seeing shows at the Bushnell (recently saw Jesus Christ Superstar) or grabbing dinner at Salute in Downtown Hartford
Robin James, Assistant Director of Admission,
Join a club or organizations that you might not normally get involved with. It allows you to meet new people and helps to create your unique college experience."
