1961: GEORGE ROBINSON
An exhibit of intaglio collage by George Robinson (C'60 HAS), (HAS) of Shoreview, Minn., was featured at The Ripple River Gallery near Bay Lake, Minn. Robinson has focused his career on two-dimensional work–painting, drawing, printmaking, and intaglio.

1976: STEW HENDERSON
The works of Stew Henderson (HAS) of Northport, Maine, were featured in a show titled Abstractions: Looking at the World Through a Different Lens at the Main Art Gallery Wiscasset in June. He has had 20 solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 60 group shows. Henderson works in several types of media, including paint, collage, sculpture, and printmaking.

1987: VISH GOVINDASAMY
Vish Govindasamy (CETA), (M'89 Barney) of Sri Lanka was recognized on lmd.lk as one of 50 Sri Lankan businesspeople who continue to drive the nation's engine of growth. He is group managing director at Sunshine Holdings PLC.

1991: Anthony assante
The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce recognized Anthony Assante (Barney), (M'93 Barney) of Glastonbury, Conn., with a Distinguished Citizen Award. He has been in the financial services industry since 1993 and is currently the managing partner of Egidio Assante Wealth Management.
1994: Peter Dicorpo
The Allen Morris Company, one of the largest diversified real estate firms in the southeast, has named Peter DiCorpo (M Barney) of Bedford, NY, chief operating officer. He brings more than 24 years of experience in real estate, investment, and operations to his new role.
1997: John Anthony
Long-distance and track runner John Anthony (A&S) of East Lyme, Conn., was one of four Norwich Free Academy athletes inducted into the Norwich Sports Hall of Fame in June. He was a track performer at the University of Hartford, and has gone on to be an accomplished triathlete.
2002: IAn Quinn
Ian Quinn (Hartt) of Tallahassee, Fla. has been promoted to associate professor of organ and coordinator of sacred music at Florida State University. His recent recordings have included the complete organ sonatas of Paul Hindemith at Pacific Lutheran University for Guild Records and Haydn Organ concertos with Jonathan Cohen for Chandos Records.

Chad Austein (A&S) of Monmouth Junction, NJ, was appointed chief enrollment management officer at Yeshiva University. Prior to that, he served in an enrollment management role at Kean University in New Jersey.

Carolyn Paine (A&S) of Hartford, Conn., appeared on medium.com. Her appearance was part of a series about social media stars who are using their platforms to make a significant social impact.
2005: david white
David White (M'05 ENHP), (C'09) of Windsor Locks, Conn., joined Enfield High School in Enfield, Conn., as its Dean of Students. He spent the past 14 years as a school counselor at E.O. Smith High School (Conn.). White worked in a variety of roles there, including senior capstone co-director, 504 co-coordinator, technology coach, and girls' soccer and softball coach.
2005: Christine dwyer
Christine Dwyer (Hartt) of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Alex Tripp ('10 Hartt) of New York, N.Y. are part of the touring company of Waitress. Dwyer plays the lead role of Jenna in the musical. She is a veteran performer who counts among her Broadway credits Wicked and Rent. Tripp, A MAssachusetts native who performs various roles in the ensemble, was profiled in an article on masslive.com.

2010: Sheldon Henry
Sheldon Henry (Hartt) of Brooklyn, N.Y., with The Prom, Mateo Melendez ('14 Hartt) of Manchester, Conn. with Beetlejuice, and Cori Stolbun ('15 Hartt) of Houston, Texas, with What the Constitution Means to Me, performed with their casts at the 2019 Tony Awards.
2011: LISA BORRES
Lisa Borres (Hartt) of Staten Island, N.Y. was among three of 350 dancers who were selected to join the world-renowned Paul Taylor Dance Company. She has participated in summer intensives at the Joffrey Ballet School, Bartha Graham Dance Company, Alley American Dance Theatre, and Parsons Dance.
2012: Craig HLAVAC
Southern Connecticut State University appointed Craig Hlavac (D ENHP) of Southington, Conn., as the associate dean for the liberal arts in the School of Arts and Sciences. He first joined Southern in 2007 as a full-time instructor in the music department. Since then, Hlavac has been an assistant professor, associate professor, department head, and interim dean.

Carlos Wilder (A'13 Hillyer), (Barney) of Bloomfield, Conn., was among at least 12 alumni who were selected to participate as a members of the Obama Foundation’s Community Leadership Corps. in Hartford. Over the course of six months beginning in June, the group of young people (ages 18–25) will form groups and develop projects that address opportunities and challenges in Hartford. The musical, inspired by the 1984 coming of age film, made its world premiere at Hartford Stage last spring.

Frank Piechotta '13 (Barney) and Sabrina Amaral '13 (A&S) of Norwalk, Conn., were married May 18 in Lisbon, Portugal. There were 27 alumni in attendance. Frank Manages the Advertising Client Services department at Altice USA, while Sabrina is an embryologist.
