Adult Academic Programs

The University of Hartford offers small classes in a convenient location with a wide range of accredited programs. The flexibility of taking classes during the day, evening, or online combined with our generous transfer credit policy and affordable per-credit cost make the University of Hartford a great choice for part-time students seeking to complete their associate's or bachelor's degrees or post-baccalaureate certificates or for those who simply wish to take college courses for personal enrichment.

The University also offers many opportunities for adults looking for professional development, intellectual stimulation, or the opportunity to participate in music, dance, and theater activities on a non-credit basis.

Please click on the section below that best describes your situation to find more information. If you need additional assistance, contact the Center for Adult Academic Services at 860.768.4373 or e-mail Karen Sullivan at ksullivan@hartford.edu or Rob Toller at toller@hartford.edu.

  • I am an adult who wants to take academic classes before I apply or who wants to take classes for audit, credit, transfer, continuing education and enrichment, or certification, but not for a degree.
  • I am an adult looking for non-credit learning, enrichment and/or professional development programs.
